11.12.11. Witth lack of sleep, I roadtripped (new verb, quote me please) with my friends to attend Nicel's wedding. I'd have to say that Metro Manila traffic is the reason why we missed the wedding services (and not our non-negotiable stopovers at (1) SLEX for food and (2) random streets in Laguna to ask for directions). We arrived at church post-recession so we went to the reception instead. Had great food with a happy bunch of people, so it was all good. Stressful, yes but very informative -- thanks to Joan. Congratulations, Nicel and Ray!
Now, let's move on to the more important event of that day. I wanted to get out of my clothes and change into something more comfortable (after eating at the reception) so me and a couple of my friends went back to the car. It was getting dark and I didn't want to strut around blindly in my heels because I thought I might fall over. True enough, while walking, I fell...hard...plakda talaga sa gravel...nakahuli ng mga 10-15 baby shokoys (surprise, surprise). Kirk thought it was his fault but for those who know me and my love affair with accidents, this is very much normal. So apart from the ABAP soap (souvenir from the wedding) and ABAP candle (which we stole from our dining table), I took home an ABAP sprain.
11.13.11. Now, boys and girls, my right foot is swollen (horrific and funny at the same time). I've been in bed, feet propped up a huge pillow AND I was not able to shop (I usually time my shopping frenzy during Manny Pacquiao's fight to avoid mall pandemonium). Too much for suffering for the sake of fashion.
