I just came back from a hectic weekend, perfect to cap off my bittersweet November. It's officially the start of my birthday month and here I am, trying desperately to update my blog. Day 2 of the trip actually consisted of 6-hour Shinkansen rides (to Osaka then back to Tokyo) and 6 hours of walking. We did swear to come back and have a more decent Osaka sight-seeing experience.
At the Shinjuku station, we had to line up and reserve our bullet train seats.
Trains leave ON TIME (not one minute before or after).
While waiting for our boarding time, we walked around the station and found this.
There was a time when Instagram was filled with Tokyo Bananas.
This lolo's briefcase is so chic.
Being lovey-dovey beside a parked bullet train.
We were so excited since it was everyone's first time on a bullet train.
Prior to this trip, the closest we got to one was by watching Wolverine (the one where he had to fight a lolo who was obsessed with immortality).
We were welcomed by a group of kids who are taking the local train. They looked so adorkable in their uniforms + bright yellow hats.
The obligatory walking shot on the way towards the Osaka Castle.

Why I love Japanese people.
While trying to look for the best vantage point to take photos with the Osaka Castle, we were approached by a very nice lolo (this is the third time "lolo" is appearing on this entry, sorry) who asked us where we're from, asked for our addresses and gave us yummy chocolate! He was more than 80 years old and he was still biking around.
Another reason why I love the Japanese.
Next stop was the Universal Studios Japan.
We are here for one reason only. *will leave you hanging for now*
Emong asked us to take this photo of him with Elmo for his pamangkins.
Shameless plug: Ladies, sweet and family-oriented single guy here.
Just send me a mail so I can start the screening process.
That familiar orb.
There are a lot of things to do in the park. I think it's a bit bigger than USS (correct me if am wrong) but every corner is a feast for the eyes!
Harry Potter! (yes, this was why we travelled from Tokyo to Osaka)
It was dark when we got to explore the world of Harry Potter. Made the experience a lot more enjoyable.
After the scariest ride ever (at least for me), we had butter beers. We purchased the ones where we get a souvenir plastic mug that says "BUTTERBEER".
We will come back.
Sorry if this entry feels rushed or kalat. Haha. But that actually was how we spent our day in Osaka. Plus, it's a Sunday and I will try to get up early, go to work early, leave work early, then pretend that Monday didn't actually happen.
I will be back for our Kyoto trip soon!
